It was a real pleasure to meet everybody involved in the GlycoNet/CMASTE initiative. Two teachers (Dany Gauthier and David Lagace) were selected to spend some time in our research group to learn what amazing carbohydrate science is being done in Canada. The teachers developed ressources related to glycomics.

Our research projects have a synthetic organic chemistry component in the areas of biological recognition of synthetic carbohydrates, total synthesis of biologically active natural products and development of new synthetic methodologies. Our research group is committed to the education and training of scientists in the field of chemical sciences relevant to biology and medicine. We are located in the Department of Chemistry at the Laval University, Quebec, Canada.

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic students, motivated to pursue graduate studies in the field of synthetic organic chemistry.
